ABOUT MY APPROACH:
I take my holistic counselling lens into everything I do, including the way I support individuals living with disabilities. My approach is trauma-informed, deeply compassionate, and adaptable—because no two people’s needs are the same.
I understand how disability and mental health often overlap, and I’m here to offer attuned, empowering support that honours the full complexity of your experience.
Growing up as an undiagnosed neurodivergent kid, I always felt different but didn’t know why. Learning was a struggle, and I often felt like I had to work twice as hard just to keep up. Over time, I developed my own systems for regulation, emotional resilience, and creative expression—and now, I get to support others doing the same.
I may not have had the exact same experiences as you, but I’ve had my own, and I believe that’s what allows me to hold a non-judgmental, deeply understanding, and genuine space.

A Bit About Me:
Hi, I’m Rachel Rose — a Holistic Counsellor, Art Therapy Student, and Independent Support Worker with over two years of full-time experience supporting people living with disabilities.
I believe in building genuine, long-term relationships based on mutual trust, care, authenticity and respect.
Outside of my professional work, I’m also:
A certified cat serenader (Lily is the queen of my home)
A sensory seeker who fully embraces fluffy slippers, incense, and comforting food
A health and wellness nerd who turned a past health crisis into a passion for nourishment, mindset, and movement
A special interest collector with a deep and lasting love for spirituality and holistic healing
A nature & music lover who thrives in the forest, by the sea, or anywhere music is playing
A devoted mindfulness student, regularly exploring qi gong, meditation, and spiritual rituals that ground and restore
Here’s a little B-roll of my life: the unfiltered, in-between moments that make me who I am.
